It all started way back in 1983 with a company called APC where the founder of Sure Click Media was a partner at the time; employed as Project Manager and Sales Co-ordinator. Advanced Programming Centre was one of the initial companies involved with the implementation of solutions using Basic, Pascal and various other computer languages which have now been propogated to the museum of programming languages.
APC was also involved in the importing and distribution of the first small PC's, namely Commodore, Sinclair, Amstrad etc., into Africa and Southern European countries such as Greece, Spain and Portugal including Israel. From there, various other projects opened up over the years, namely joint ventures with the then Goldstar - now LG, and Samsung for initial chip programming for their video machines etc.
Later came other industrial programming projects for Yag lasers in the mining industry and points of sale for the retail markets.
The internet then came upon us like a storm and we gradually shifted our focus to web applications and design.
What a refreshing change it was for us, and in 1998 the concept of Sure Click Media was born with the initial design and implementation of web sites mainly for clients in the USA, Australia and South Africa.
Later, as the web became more advanced we started working with new sophisticated web applications using PHP, Javascript and Ajax - dynamic sites using CMS (content management system) such as Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, DotNetNuke, ASP.NET Applications and CodeChargeStudio; although our specialty lies in custom CMS applications and high end database systems for banking, security etc. With that said, the bulk of our business comes from small business; so it does not matter who you are; we have a solution for you!
